About Hidden Equity Capital
Hidden Equity Capital is an asset management and capital advisory firm that focuses on advancing small minority and women owned businesses, which are historically underserved in today’s society. We feel that the emerging segment of businesses owned by minorities and women provides great opportunity for investors to receive absolute returns on their investments. Also, by putting private capital into these underserved minority and women owned businesses, investors can feel that they are having a positive impact on communities in need while generating significant absolute returns.
With over 20 years of investment experience, we have the knowledge and relationships necessary to lead our clients to success. These crucial relationships with some of the top investment banking firms on Wall Street have been developed and maintained in part by one of our founders and partners, Dana Howard, while playing for a several successful teams in the NFL.
Our partners’ specific experiences with some of the top financial companies in the United States, allows Hidden Equity Capital to provide successful absolute return investments. We are not only able to use the knowledge gathered working at companies such as JP Morgan or Merrill Lynch, but also we are able to tap into the important relationships with key people that our partners’ developed over their years of first-hand experience raising capital within these companies. When we then apply this knowledge of private capital building and absolute return investments to the emerging domestic companies, which we focus on, we are able to create a business that helps foster new businesses owned by minorities and women in underserved, urban communities.
